AROUND THE CLOCK TOUR
fall 2005
with This Day & Age, Socratic, Adam Richman

             The Rocket Summer spent the fall of 2005 on an extensive headine tour, where they played with This Day & Age, Socratic, and Adam Richman. At this time, Bryce's friend Matt Bergeland joined them on the road with his video camera, and he videotaped the shows each night for the potential of compiling the footage into a DVD one day. The show in Boston at The Axis on October 12, 2005 was recorded live and the audio was made available for purchase at the venue immediately after the show, by a company called 'Instant Live.'
             This was one of The Rocket Summer's last tours traveling around in a van. In the middle of October, the van had some problems and took a few days to get repaired, forcing Bryce to cancel a couple shows in Canada. This situation is what ended up inspiring the lyrics "we broke down on the side of the road... east coast we had to cancel the shows..." in 'A Song is Not A Business Plan' (Do You Feel, 2007).
